Christ’s Church considers the religious education and formation of children a central priority. With the support of the parish and a team of volunteer teachers, we offer weekly discipleship education for children between the ages of 3 and 11 during our service. Christ’s Kids uses an age-appropriate curriculum, following the Sunday lectionary through Bible stories, videos, music and activities. All teachers and helpers have received background checks and abuse awareness training. Children begin in the service with their families and soon dismissed to their class, and then return after the sermon to join their parents and participate in the Eucharist (also called Communion or the Lord’s Supper). At Christ’s Church, all baptized Christians are welcome to partake the Eucharist.
